How did you end up becoming Head of Digital?
I was attracted to the Rugby League World Cup 2021 as it was a chance to utilise my skills from working in tourism, culture and sport over the years. Our ambition to make the tournament the most digitally connected entertainment event of 2022 is a personal challenge that’s hugely exciting and inspiring.
What is your favourite sporting memory?
As a United fan it has to be that Ryan Giggs goal vs Arsenal in the 1999 FA Cup.
If you weren’t involved in sport what would you do?
I’d probably be doing something in the field of urban design, making use of my degree in colouring in (Geography). Alternatively pursuing a career related to my passion for photography.
