THINGS TO DO IN LEEDS
Right across our city, and beyond, you’ll find attractions, experiences, destinations and hidden gems, shining new spotlights on our community, history, pride and passion. Leeds lives up to its reputation as Foodie Capital of the North so if you’re hungry for food from all over the world just take a walk round our city. Everything is walkable and accessible, check out Kirkgate Market and the Corn Exchange or find breathtaking artworks and intriguing exhibits at Leeds Art Gallery, or our City Museum.
We’ve long loved the stage, and our theatres are something to behold. From the Victorian charm of the City Varieties, to the iconic Leeds Playhouse, bearing a new name for a new chapter in its storied history. Or there’s the Leeds Grand, home to our nationally renowned resident ballet and opera companies.
It’s not all indoors, either. Taking to the streets might see you touring the blue plaques that hint at our city’s long lost stories, or staring up at striking street murals painted by the best new urban artists. So make your list, and see how many you can tick off.
