After a rip-roaring opening two rounds of fixtures, the stage is set for Round 3 of the Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup.

With places in the semi-finals on the line, the stakes could not be higher and the all-important officials have now been announced to ensure proceedings run smoothly.

Group A

The action begins at the Copper Box Arena on Wednesday with a winner-takes-all clash between Australia and Spain.

Both sides currently sit on two points after a win and a loss in their opening pair of matches and know a win in East London will see them through.

David Butler will be the attack referee, David Roig the defence referee with Grant Jackson and Steve Hewson the in goal referees. Ollie Cruikshank is the reserve referee.

The other match in Group A will see England look to keep their perfect start to the tournament against Ireland, who will be gunning for their first win.

Ollie Cruikshank is the attack referee for this one, and Grant Jackson the defence referee. David Roig and Steve Hewson are the in goal referees, David Butler will be the reserve.

Group B

The focus then switches to Sheffield on Thursday, as Group B comes to its conclusion.

France have two wins from two so far, but must get past the USA if they are to make it a perfect record in the group stage while their opponents know a win should take them through to the semi-finals.

Matthew Ball is the attack referee for this one, with Kim Abel the defence referee. David Butler and David Roig are the in goal referees, and Laurent Abrial is the reserve referee.

The group stage action then concludes with Wales taking on Scotland in an exciting Home Nations battle.

Wales are still in with a chance of making the semi-finals if they can emerge victorious in Sheffield, but will need to better the result of USA.
