Tonga await as Taylan May-inspired Samoa down France

By James Toney at the Halliwell Jones Stadium

Taylan May took over and ran in four tries as Samoa rubber-stamped a quarter-final spot by beating France 62-4 in Warrington.

France simply had no response to Samoa's poise and power as Stephen Crichton pulled the strings and added a nine-goal kicking display.

Tonga now await and a titanic all-Polynesian tussle in the last eight.
