Benjamin Jullien scored two tries and Aruthur Mourgue collected 18 points to get France underway with a 34-12 win over Rugby League World Cup debutants Greece.
Jordan Dezaria opened the scoring with Tony Gigot and Mourgue also crossing the whitewash while the latter delivered a flawless display from the tee and helped orchestrate France's impressive attack ahead of a huge clash against hosts England in Bolton on Saturday.

But Steve Georgallis’ Greece side displayed plenty of determination and effort in South Yorkshire and deservedly got themselves on the scoreboard through Siteni Taukamo’s historic try, their first in tournament history, before Nick Mougious rounded off the game with a stunning score to send Doncaster wild.
