With the countdown clock ticking down until the Rugby League World Cup 2021 (RLWC2021) kicks off on the 15^th October, fans are being urged to book their group tickets now to avoid disappointment.

Since the 200 days to go landmark last week, ticket sales have seen a boost with certain venues and games already sold out in various ticket categories. To ensure they can all sit together, groups are being encouraged to book early and take advantage of one free ticket for every 15 tickets purchased. 

Mick Hogan, Director of Revenue at RLWC2021 said: 

“We have seen a real uptake in ticket purchases over the past week and a half, and we want to make sure any groups who are interested in attending don’t miss out. The RLWC2021 is set to make a real impact this year, and we want to make sure communities – which are at the heart of what rugby league is all about – get the opportunity to attend.

“So far, we have had purchases from schools, universities, Rugby League clubs, businesses, pubs, community groups and other sports teams. If you are considering purchasing group tickets, I would encourage you to do so early as we are already starting to see sell-outs at some venues.”

For groups booking 50 or more tickets for one match, you could be eligible for a once-in-a-lifetime experience which could include walking out with a competing team or being on pitch with nations flags. Experiences are in high-demand and are issued on an availability basis.
