England Men

Finishing the campaign as the Super League top metre maker, Davies was a pleasure to watch in 2021. 

His 14 tries demonstrated an ability to cross the whitewash even in the biggest of matches, and will be looking to cause a selection headache for Shaun Wane.

The St Helens prop has well and truly cemented himself as a legend at the Super League side, following his help in completing the historic three-peat session. 

His endearing style makes him one international star fans will be excited to see at #RLWC2021.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Jordan Abdull 

Following performances to warrant a place on the prestigious Man of Steel shortlist, the Hull KR half back has earnt himself a first call-up for his country, after catching the eyes of many in 2021. 

France Men

This season Goudemand has earned his place in the first team for Catalan Dragons. The hooker had a phenomenal breakthrough 2019 before being hit with injuries in 2020, he will be one to watch when selection comes around for France's #RLWC2021 squad. 

🇫🇷 Arthur Mourgue (@ArthurMourgue)

The Catalan Dragons star is a formidable asset for France, his technical game is outstanding. 

The 22-year old has had to wait patiently to appear for the Super League side has paid off and is one to watch ahead of #RLWC2021.

🇫🇷 Eloi Pelissier (@EloiPelissier)

The hooker uses his strength to his advantage within defence, particularly this season when he played a huge part in the rise of Toulouse Olympique to the Super League. 

This weekend is the perfect opportunity for him to show that he's the right fit at international level. 

England Women

This years’ Woman of Steel and #RLWC2021 Ambassador, is one of the key names in the women’s game at the moment. 

The St Helens captain, who is currently playing the best rugby of her career will be looking to take her experience and skill onto the biggest stage of all at #RLWC2021.

It’s no surprise to see Andrade included in the squad, her progression in the last year has proven her to be one to watch. 

She has been named in the England squad for the first time following a try-laden season with the Knights.

The St. Helens local has been integral to St Helens success this season, with 12 tries in 12 games and securing the Challenge Cup and Grand Final double.

The versatile back’s call up to the international side is something all fans can be excited about.

France Women

🇫🇷 Leila Bessahli 

The 24-year-old, prop or loose forward is fearsome in defence, her game is full of character and is extremely technical which makes her stand out. 

Bessahli is a pure talent who became a leader of the Goddesses of St-Estève (Catalan Dragons).

🇫🇷  Elisa Akpa

France vice-captain is an exceptional rugby league star both on and off the field, with her professionalism being championed with a role to be the voice between the players and management. 

🇫🇷  Mélanie Bianchini 

Following her third year in League, the centre has fallen in love with Rugby League, her defensive power and sense of the game has made her one of the best players in her championship.
